There are few different approaches that could use it and solution to the dilemma in my workplace. Consequentiality ethical theory is a general institutionalizing theory that bases the ethical assessment of acts, guidelines, foundations and so on which base on the goodness of their outcomes
Through using consequentiality theories i can apply an egoistic approach (Longenecker, 1989) to only focus my personal interest like career, promotion, future employment in other company, self-reputation and so on by keeping silent on the unethical practices between the supplier and my manager and putting aside on the violation of company policy. Although these solutions only focus on my own personal interest, it also bring minimal impact and possibility to putting me in a threatening positions in case of any whistleblowing case happen.

For the act Utilitarianism can be apply in this case. Utilitarianism use to describe as individual’s act is morally right if and just on the off chance that it creates in any occasion as much bliss as some other demonstration that the individual could perform at that time. For example in this case, the supplier bribe the manager in order to win a contract or project. As this unethical practices will not bring harm to the company where it only will violate the company policy, therefore I will not whistle blow to senior manager while discuss and advice with manager personally that there is unethical practices with accepting supplier’s value gift.
