The tone of voice made Percy immediately start worrying. The last time he heard her voice fragile but angry, was during her parent's divorce, when she found out that her father had cheated on her mother. "Annabeth, what's wrong?"
She sniffed. "Luke broke up with me."
Percy turned rigid and growled. He knew that Luke was bad for her. "He what?" It sounded more like a demand rather than a question.
"He- wait a second-" There was a crash, like glass breaking, and then someone yelled, "That's it! Freakin' break everything!"
Annabeth returned to the conversation huffing. "I'm guessing that you're with Thalia."
