It was Autumn and Sheldon Shufflebottom was like any normal boy.
He enjoyed playing ball with his friends and had a million toys.
Sheldon climber the tallest trees and swam the ocean deep.
While his friends ran from bugs, Sheldon was fascinated by bees.
Halloween was coming up and his friends were all going to be superheroes,
But Sheldon wanted to be a mummy – the scariest of all the pharaohs.
Yes, you could say Sheldon was fearless but that wasn’t always the case.

Sheldon would just stare outside, count the night clouds and moon beams.
Sheldon could hear the magpies and buzzards outside making their final roost.
Night was coming, the sleepover was coming soon.
After dinner, Nana asked, “How was your spaghetti, my sweet?”
Sheldon replied, “It was wonderful! Can we now eat ice cream?”
Nana laughed and said, “Of course, but not too much. We don’t want to keep you up all night.”

Sheldon felt like a coward, this house was just too much.

It was now bedtime. Nana Bertah tucked Sheldon in and gave him 10 kisses.
