I watched as the Vampires faded away from our view, and they have taken Tori with them. I stand there, unable to move, then Brandyn snapped me out of my trance by slapping me across the face. I turned to look at the others and their faces were pale. Brandyn and Kaitlyn nodded at me. After I nodded, we took off toward the forest, which was right behind the school. When we were out of everyone’s sight, we phased into our Werewolf forms.
I could feel my body changing, stretching out, and growing to be three times the size of a Great Dane. What. Happened. To. Tori.” I repeated slowly through clenched teeth. Sarah flicked her gaze over to me. I could feel her orange, piercing eyes trying to break me. I didn’t let go.
“We...are just keeping her safe for a while. To, you know, use her to get to you Werewolves.” Emily looked at the three of us. “Where are the others?” She asked us.
“They’re not with us. We’re the Midnight Sun Pack. The others are the Blue Moon Pack.” Kaitlyn explained.
“Yeah, and why do you need Tori? I mean, I know that she’s the Alpha for the Blue Moon Pack, but, how is she so special?” I asked Emily.
“Because she’s really important to you Werewolves, but she’s more important to us Vampires. You should know why, Kady.” Izzy replied. I could feel my face burning with shame. I did know why, and I never told anyone else.
“What is she talking about? What do you know that we don’t?” Brandyn demanded. I sighed in defeat.
