Creative Writing: The Sammamish River Trail

I have thought about writing you for a while now. I want you to know that I forgave you a long time ago. I want you to know that I understand that there is two sides to every story. I learned your side only a couple years after the car accident. I was riding my bicycle on the Sammamish River Trail, and I was riding on the wrong side of the trail. I had the snarky idea of “why does it matter what side I ride on? There’s no one coming from that direction!” next thing I know, a couple of woman are trying to get past me, I recall them saying “on your left!” trying to get my little behind to get back into the right lane! Didn’t work. Instead, I panicked when I heard them, and hit the break! Suddenly, I hear a clatter, turn around see one of the woman on the ground bleeding and moaning in pain. I also want you to know that I look at the positive that came out of the car accident. I grew up in a poor household. I also have ADHD, and dyslexia. We were able to use my settlement to pay for Sylvan Learning Center. I went from reading at a second grade level in fourth grade, to reading at a sixth grade level in fifth grade!
