A tragic hero is a literary character who makes a judgement error that inevitably leads to her downfall. There are more than one tragic hero’s in the drama but I am just going to be talking about Creon. In the drama Antigone, Creon gets the label tragic hero by many different things , first when he went against the gods rules and made his own , then when he refused to bury polyneices , lastly when his wife and son killed themselves.
Creon's first mistake was going against the gods saying that polyneices is to not be buried. “Polyneices , i say , is to have no burial.” Creon wouldn't give him a burial because he turned on his city and traded on them.
