No matter how much her sister convinces her not to. “Now, the two of us are left here quite alone. /Think how we’ll die far worse than all the rest, /if we defy the law and move against /the king’s decree, against his royal power. /We must remember that by birth we’re women, /and, as such, we shouldn’t fight with men. /Since those who rule are much more powerful, /we must obey in this and in events/ which bring us even harsher agonies.” After trying to cover her brother, she is caught and brought to the king. In which she is not sorry for going against him. Because she feels that it is right because she cannot have another brother because her parents are dead. She would have not defied the law if it was a husband or child because she can always get another husband or child. But she cannot have another brother because of her parents are gone.
Part two of Antigone, her sister tries to save her. But Antigone is not afraid of her consequences because she did what was right to her heart. She could not deal with her sister suffering with her. Antigone knows that the second she chose to defy the king she would surely die. “Be brave. You’re alive.
