The CrossFit trend took the world by storm and has expanded to have over 13,000 affiliate gyms in 120 countries. CrossFit Lander is proud to be one of those affiliates. Currently, CrossFit Lander is home to about 100 members who are serious about getting fit. Currently, about 60% of worldwide CrossFit members are between the ages of 25-44 who really want to get and/or stay in shape. CrossFit Lander is looking to grow their community to adults who are interested in getting or staying in shape. Younger athletes are also wanted in the CrossFit Lander community. At the moment, CrossFit Lander has a few middle school and high school athletes that are regular members of the gym. CrossFit Lander has a very different and interesting approach to working out than most regular gyms.

The Murph workout consists of: a 1 mile Run, 100 Pullups, 200 Push-ups, 300 Squats, and another 1 mile Run for time. The premise behind the Super Murph event is to allow for all ages to participate, not just CrossFit members. There would be 3 tiers of the Super Murph event. The first would be a Little Murph that would consist of: ½ mile run, 25 pull ups, 75 push ups, 100 squats, and another ½ mile run. The Little Murph would be aimed toward novice athletes like kids. The second tier would be the Murph, which is just the normal Murph workout. The final tier takes the event’s namesake of Super Murph. The Super Murph would be: 2 ½ km run, 150 pull ups, 300 pushups, 450 squats and another 2 ½ km run. The Super Murph event would take place on/around Memorial Day annually. CrossFit Lander would be interested in getting sponsorships from local businesses to give prizes (cash, gifts) to winners in each tier as well as a t-shirt to each competitor who successfully completed the
