One strength of this intake assessment is the starting demographic information. This gave the CTRS a good beginning baseline of what resources Sal may have available to her that the CTRS may want to utilize. An example being she lives with her mother and younger sister which she may depend on to get to TR interventions. Another fact shared about Sal is she identifies as Catholic. This could help the CTRS choose certain interventions with a more spiritual or Catholic appeal to them to get Sal more invested.
Another strength of the intake assessment was the specific physical activities a part of Sal’s comprehensive therapy plan. Sal stated in the future she hopes to exercise more, so the CTRS included “Assist in her formulating reasonable stretching and exercise goals: gentle yoga positions, light weights, with music accompaniment. This part of the CTRS’s therapy plan does a great job of incorporating something Sal wants to improve while making sure she is comfortable with music and it being “gentle” and “light” physical

There was a lot of beneficial information that gave the CTRS and anyone else on the treatment team a good understanding of who Sal is and her different functionality levels. The CTRS was able to form good interpretations based on her leisure interests based on current physical functionality. Her social functionality was also prominently shown when the CTRS writes “The Battery took a relatively long time to administer due to her decision-making process, justifications, related stories, and digressions.” This made me laugh because I thought about other older adults who share lots of stories with me when I ask them simple questions. I am not complaining, frankly I love it! I just can imagine someone with strong social skills, such as Sal; I could see her talking until your ear falls
