Cuban recipes are a mixture of American, Taino, Spanish, African, and Caribbean cuisines. Some of Cuba's spices ingredients come from Spanish and African cooking. As an effect over Spanish colonization over Cuba it has inspired the dish cuisine from Spain. The most common side dishes in Cuba are beans and rice sometimes corn but it's a rare choice for a side dish. Beans, rice, and corn are one of the most harvested in Cuba, it's rare for Cubans to create fast food companies or microwaved dishes. In Cuba it's a tradition to serve meat with light spices and rice as a side dish. The most famous and well known spice in Cuba is a spice named mojo or mojito, this sauce is made out of oil, garlic, onion, and spices such as Oregano and bitter oranges.
