The cultural diversities in psychology vary depending on the field that you are working in. However, there are a few areas within each organization that are similar. Organizational Culture is a compilation of the values, behaviors, and beliefs that make up the companies foundation (Psychology and Society, N. D.). In the field of forensic psychology, a bureaucratic culture is the fundamental culture in the workplace.
The values, beliefs, and norms in a bureaucratic culture have been put in place by a hierarchy (Gupta, 2009). A bureaucratic culture is enforced by strict policies and practiced procedures (Gupta, 2009). These practices are usually adopted by state and federal legislations.
