Professional Bio
I decided to interview a business professional with an MBA, who is a small business owner, and entrepreneur, Curt Crowther.
My thoughts are that these type of qualifications and skills would be extremely beneficial and useful in the commercial real estate industry, along with many other occupations. Curt is a franchisee owner of Serta Mattress Company here in Salt Lake City. He started working for the company at the age of 24, by “working hard, doing the right things, and bringing something to the table” he became VP of the company between age 29-30, and by age 35 Curt was the President of the company. “ Attitude over Aptitude” plays a key role to success in everything according to Curt. In my interview I asked Curt several questions ranging from his personal life, to his business life, and his education.
I will share a few of my favorite questions and answers: How well did your college experience prepare you for this job? Curt’s response “I could not have purchased company without MBA, I learned how to leverage money in college. Without that I wouldn't have been able to make a successful purchase of the Company
