Great post! I must say that I admired your courage of being able to combat the cigarette addition right on time, knowing fully the repercussions on the unborn baby. I’m also glad that your brother chose the same path to quit as well. I believe with the support and encouragement from everyone around him, he will adhere to this decision. Cutting off addiction is not an easy task, it takes a lot of discipline and determination on one’s part, although, some people find it difficult to quit, but it is doable. This reminds me of a young patient I once gave care to, at my facility a couple of years ago, about age 27 years as of that time, who was an addict. He was the only child and according to his mother, he was found unconscious under the stairs
