At what point should speech be limited? We have the right to freedom of speech, but some people don’t realize that it can have a big impact on someone. Although we have the right to express ourselves through different types of sources, such as the internet, schools should be allowed to limit students online speech because students and teachers have been cyberbullied, it interferes with the learning environment, and it can be humiliating.
Some people use their online speech for cyberbullying. A bar graph showed that 25.1% of female students and 16.6% of male students have been cyberbullied in their lifetime (Doc A).
