All children and young people devolpe at different rates and some children will develop sometimes quicker in other areas than others e.g a child may enjoy physical activities such as playing catch with a ball but are not as strong at creative activites e.g sticking. Their choice will mean they will have had to consider their preferences either through vision, sound or interest which is helping to form their own unique personalities.
