The moral learned in the story Daedalus and Icarus by Geraldine McCaughream is listen and remember because it could possibly get you in great danger. “Icarus stopped flapping his wings. His father's words came back to him clearly now: “Don’t fly too close to the sun” (McCaughream 56). Daedalus said right before they jumped. This myth shows that if you don't listen and remember it could get you in a lot of trouble, or even danger.
