Dale Lee Schultz came into this world on July 25, 1947 in Mora, Minnesota. Dale has two siblings: one older brother named Erlin and a twin brother named David. He is a loving and caring grandpa, dad, and husband. Dale married his wife named Doris, but she died from a heart attack. They have four children- Katie, Bill, Bob, and Becky and eight grandchildren- Tiffany, Jeremy, Andrew, Nicole, Brady, Daytona, Tony, and Desiree. Dale loves to tell stories even if they are real or not.
Dale had enlisted in the army on June 4, 1967 when he was nineteen years old. He stayed in state for one-hundred twenty days or four months. Dale met this girl named Doris Dombrovski, who he later would marry and start a family with. Once his four months were up, Dale

While he was there, he became a cook and did police work. Dale wore a uniform with shiny, black shoes and white gloves while doing police work. After being in the Military Police company for thirteen months, Dale got transferred to the Transportation Company. He became the first cook, which was the person in charge of the mess hall where the troops ate. During this time, Dale’s brother David went to Vietnam for a year. Dale was twenty-one years old when the Transportation Company had to go to Germany. His Commanding Officer told him that the Transportation Company was leaving in seven days. He would be leaving for Germany in the middle of August with his company. Dale went home and told his wife that he had to go to Germany. He also told Ray, the caretaker of the Monterey Motel that Dale was staying in, that he had to leave, but his wife would be there until the first of September. On the sixth day, Dale’s Commanding Officer told him that he could not go to Germany because Dale’s twin brother had already been out of the United States in Vietnam. Twins or multiple brothers were not allowed out of states together because if they all died they could not carry on their family name. Dale stayed back with nothing to do so he went home. Dale was very sad because before the army he wanted to go to Germany. His grandparents were from there and he was just always interested in going
