Damian is a 20 year old Hispanic male who lives with her mother. The youth was referred by her mother in response to reported anxiety and depression. Damian stated that he is experiencing a lot of anxiety because he had failed the FCAT exam 5 times and the SAT 4 times already and he feels that he is never is going to graduate from High School. Youth also verbalized that his self esteem is “a little low” that he doesn’t go out, doesn’t have any friends and that he is extremely shy with peers.
