My work with the City of Ottawa as a dance instructor (item 4) exemplifies how I possess the characteristics required to be a physician. In this position I am responsible for designing and implementing the program curriculum, leading the participants through the activities, and managing the classes to ensure that they are carried out effectively and on schedule (1). I run most of the programs independently, thus, this job requires a high level of reliability to the students, parents, and my employer. Leading a group of young children through physical activity requires effective communication and patience.
