A hooded figure moved through the tall trees in the forest, as the sun sunk down behind the marshland. His faithful steed not giving away his presence as he tracked down the footsteps lost in the rainy wetlands. He looked towards the sky to see nothing but a thick sheet of grey, the sun already forgotten as the beasts of the forest retreated into holes in the ground for they already feared the monsters that came out at night.
"Animals have the right instincts", he thought.
Too bad he was trained in the arts of a witcher, a thorough-bred monster killer incapable of fear, or any other emotion. He knew the Masters of the Academy had not succeeded completely in ridding him of emotions. His senses however were heightened, leaving capabilities

In the middle of his worrying, a knife was pointed at his back, and the man said "You are clearly a stupid man. With the other one you might have stood a chance, but now I will kill you. You need not worry, life will not leave you. Not quickly, No."
He knocked Dandelion's head in a swift blow as Dandelion collapsed to the floor with a whimper.
Eilif picked Dandelion easily and put him over his back and started walking back towards his cave.

Eilif, in the blink of an eye, made a dash for Liara whilst Geralt's back was turned towards him.
As he was about to grab Liara, Geralt turned around and knocked Eilif's forehead with the blunt of his sword, as Eilif hit the ground like a rock.
"We should finish him off! The arrogance of this man to still try!" Dandelion exclaimed
Geralt simply turned back and headed to his horse. As he mounted, he said, " He's not going to try anything else tonight, not when he's unconscious."
Dandelion simply gathered his belongings and got on the horse, sitting behind the witcher.
"Geralt, tell me, does it ever get easier to know a man from a monster?" Dandelion asked, clearly puzzled with the events of the
