Daniel Boone was a frontiers men who lived from 1734 to 1820. He traveled many places from Pennsylvania to Virginia to Kentucky and finally to Missouri. Boone had two primary ventures that he took during his lifetime. One of them was a long hunt into the Appalachian Mountains and the second being his journey across the Cumberland Gap into Kentucky. Daniel Boone’s travels would be shrouded in mystery though his greatest achievement would be him escaping from captivity and making his way to the town of Boonsboro and protecting it from enemies. In Boone’s later life he would be subjected to embarrassment because he was court-martialed because of his capture in Blue Licks and this would come to the point where he would lose his land in Kentucky
