The reporter stated two months ago Darnell came to live with her because the family’s lights had been disconnected; the original plan was for the child to live with her family until the power was restored. After a couple of days, Ms. Williams contacted the reporter to confirm if Darnell lived with her and asked if he could continue to stay.
