Strategies for college
I take 4 different classes at QCC. I take a math 090 class, English 091 class, ort110, and asl 111. I have my strategies for college class 3 days a week and that’s the class I take the most. I like my class and my teachers pretty cool. We’ve had a few assignments but nothing serious, im excited to see how the year goes. My math class is pretty small, I have it every Monday from 4-6:50. I went to the first class and the teacher is laid back. I didn’t go to the next class because I haven’t gotten the book for the class, but the class itself should go good. I didn’t go because it’s the math lab on the computer and he told us the book wasn’t needed. My English class is good, but there’s a lot of reading to do. The first homework was to read the first 4 chapters, which was a lot to do but I got it done and the next class flew by like nothing. I have it every Tuesday from 4-6:50. The teacher in my English class is kind of an old guy but his personality is funny and he gets the whole class going. The last class I take is my ASL class that I take every Monday from 7-9:50. When I went to the class I didn’t expect the teacher to be deaf which was a surprise. She could form some speech but she couldn’t hear from far distances, she had a hearing aid or something. The class is going good but the teacher I think is leaving, and a hearing guy is going to take her place. She was interesting though because she use to be a professional actress.
