could not be more different. In this paper we will be discussing the differences and likenesses of
David and D’Artagnon regarding how they got to where they ended up and how they acted and
carried themselves while on their journey. One of them followed the path of the Lord and the
other followed the path of the flesh. One of them was picked by The Lord and the other was
picked by man. Did they both come with the same heart, or does one of them have the wrong
intent in his heart? We will dissect these questions and more within the contents of this paper.

His desire is to get something out of
helping people. David’s desire is to save the Lord and others, he does not desire to get anything
out of helping people.
The last topic we will be discussing is how David and D’Artagnon went from nothing
(nobody) to fame and how they got there. What path did they take? Was it through the will of
God or was it by their own hand? We're they chosen by God or by man (through their own will)?
If you know the Bible at all, then you know that David was specifically chosen by God, through
Samuel, to be the next King. Keep in mind that it was not because of his stature or age or looks
or his ability...but the contents of his heart. He was a man after God’s own heart who had a
desire to serve the Lord. He was destined for greatness in the eyes of the Lord. D’Artagnon is an
entirely different story he wants himself to be great not because it was initiated by God, but
because it was initiated by himself. He wants himself to be better than the rest, he wants to be
number one. As I've stated multiple times throughout the paper, D’Artagnon wants it for himself.
There is a large percentage of him that is selfish, obviously, but not all of him wants to do
