David Barton’s book titled “The Bulletproof George Washington,” is about George Washington and his part in a July 9th, 1755 battle in the French and Indian War. This event helped shape his character and helped him become the man he is known as today. At the age of 23, Colonel Washington was marching on battlefields delivering General Braddock’s orders to the troops. Washington was specifically targeted due to being an officer. 63 out of 86 of the British and American soldiers were killed or injured. George was the only officer on horseback that was not shot down, he was the only uninjured aid of the General.
