The article written by Slippery Rock University professor of the Criminology and Criminal Justice department David R. Champion in 2011 named “White-Collar Crimes and Organizational Offending: An Integral Approach”, he asks that if Integral Theory can be applied to the research of white-collar crime and how does their concepts characterizes white-collar criminals. The main objective of this article is to get the attention of professionals and academic researchers that can applied these discoveries to their own research and have a more focused research and findings. This article written by David R. Champion, there are various variables that has a powerful effect in the research and the application of the Integral Theory into the white-collar crime research. For instance, Champion used empirical observations and research for interview and newspapers. Specifically, he used articles from important national newspapers that helped him gather the profiles that white-collar criminals share. For example, he used articles from Los Angeles Times, New York Times, Forbes and many more newspapers that have published their profiles of white-collar criminals with the world. As well, he uses law enforcement files to compare the profiles of white-collar criminals, which in he concluded that all of the profiles were similar. He implemented several methods of research to be able to get to his conclusions. By doing these combinations of methodologies, he was able to well inform and get to his conclusion the Integral Theory can led to explain and be applied into the white-collar crime
