In document 1 it talks about how the Maguey plant was a large advancement to that time. Since they had only raised cotton in warmer and wetter climates, they could use the leaves in many ways such as for roof tiles, footwear, cloth, and plates. They had also used the juice from the plant which could make sugar so they could produce wine, honey, vinegar, and sugar. The plant itself could have been used for fencing and firewood so lumber wouldn't have to be grown or cut.
In document 2 it refers to the Mayan song Awaken the Flint. Back then they all had to just drop all their things and go to war while now we have our army which goes to war and only the ones in the army has to go. We also don't use bow & arrows or spears and how they were replaced with guns,…show more content… The boys were taught how to hunt, fish, woodworking, and farming. The girls were taught how to cook, sweep, spindling, and embroidery. Today kids are taught subjects such as math, english, history, science, and technology.

But know we have technology such as telescopes and other technology to help scientists figure out the celestial bodies. Yet we don't even have to hire then there's scientists that have dedicated their life to studying the celestial as there job.
In document 5 it refers to the city layout. they had to convert water to make it drinkable, but know we have natural water springs in the ground that is distributed all over the country. They had also talked about how there were large tower like today's skyscrapers and compared to how they are to small building.
