Throughout history, power has been an enduring issue, impacting many civilizations and people. Power is defined as being controlled, and having control over what someone is doing. Documents 1, 2, and 5 clearly show how interconnectedness has impacted people over long periods of time.

History is filled with examples of power from time to time. For example, in document 1 it states “Pope Gregory, Believed he was God on earth”.
