“Find your lack of faith disturbing.” Darth Vader. Imagine, our country is on its way to being attacked. This attack might mean the end of our Nation’s very existence. However is this proposal goes through, this reality would never come to be. Today I am here to propose the construction of a weapon that will keep America and its allies forever safe and in power. I am proposing that the government creates a Death Star or a space station of equivalent purpose. Now some may disagree with the idea of the United States creating such a dangerous weapon, however, a great deal of people will welcome the idea of having a Death Star. There are three key points as to why the United States needs to build a Death Star: It could be more than just a weapon, …show more content…
The space station could be used to defend Earth from incoming objects that would otherwise destroy our home that we love so dearly. In addition to the possibility of defending Earth, the American Death Star would provide thousands upon thousands of jobs to Americans. Both in construction, crew, and others. It would also house all these people and provide homes to both civilian and military personnel. So the existence of a death star would not be all bad and actually help people.

The second point I would like to make is that America will go untouched. Our beautiful country has gone through several attacks, whether it be a terrorist attack or a declaration of war. With those who would want to do us harm would think twice. In addition, it could any war that our country is a part of. Think about it, no more wars because of one single space station.

The third and final point that I will address is that the design will be completely different from the original design. Not many functions will be changed and the external shape will remain the same. But the big difference is a major weakness. It will be removed so that a one-man fighter could destroy
