In my community, there was a decreasing population of deer and elk. In addition, deer were often found wandering into our small towns eating the tops of flowers and getting into gardens, destroying months of hard laborious work. This, due to the deficit of edibles found where they would normally reside in higher altitudes. A piece of Utah's natural beauty was beginning to thin and the residents of our community were getting heated. Thankfully for us, we found a solution long before this became an great concern. As I worked towards obtaining my eagle scout achievement, I had the opportunity to provide service to the community and chose this concern as my project.
