Every Thanksgiving, my family gets together after eating a large meal and goes deer hunting. Someone usually kills a deer, and this deer's meat serves as a source of nurtition for our family. The death of this deer and its removal from the ecosystem provides the deer population within that ecosystem the opportuinty to microevolve within the next few generations. Deer with similar phenotypes will probably also be killed due to their lack of camoflauge. The removal of the deer also removes these deer's genes from the gene pool. Because these deer were easily seen and killed, the genes they possess that allowed them to be easily seen will be removed from the gene pool.
