What I may consider a stressor may not be a stressor to someone else. However, I have found money/finances to be a huge stressor within my life because it seems as if you cannot live with money and you surely cannot live without it. It seems as if the cost of living is steadily rising, but yet what we get paid is still a minimum wage of $7.25 in the state Tennessee. That to me is very stressful because not only do I not make a lot of money, but unfortunately I have a sick husband who cannot work and two kids, so can you just imagine the amount of stress I go through mentally on a daily basis. With having to work 40+ hours a week, attend college full time, attend church faithfully, and care for my husband and children, it brings on a lot of stress for me and definitely is not easy. However, there are ways to alleviate the causes of stress. First, do some re-evaluating on your daily living. Second, take the time to yourself and blow off some steam. Third, take the time to wind down and relax. Fourth, set specific goals that are measurable, attainable, realistic, and timely. Ultimately, find ways to communicate, look for the good in every situation, and smile more and worry less. If you do all of these things you can decrease the amount of stress that resides within your
