When it comes to romantic love, the lovers are usually on each others minds most of the time and to always be touchy-feely. Except when it comes to Japan, that isn’t really comfortable with public display of affection, or like France, where public displays of affection are more welcoming than most other countries. When it comes to romantic love, you want to be with that person all the time. I may not have experience with romantic love, but I have seen couples in love all around me. For me, it is quite gross to see, but for others I’m sure it is pure bliss. Romantic love can also blind people to what is really happening around them. It can make them think of only their lover and not the rest of the world. It can also make people so happy that they oblivious to their surroundings and/or others’ feelings. Friendship loves you don’t seem to think about the friends you love all the time like romantic love. Provided, in some cases friendship can soon turn romantic from being “just friends” first. Because of pressure from society, it is getting harder and harder for a male and a female to be friends. Though romantic love could be described as fire or sparks, friendship love could be described as warm feelings in the pit of your stomach. Friends who love one another want to make that other feel better and be their confidant. Friendship love could be compared to that of being siblings. One of Larry Flynt’s quotes about friendship says all that is needed to say about it, “The two most misused words in the entire English vocabulary are love and friendship. A true friend would die for you, so when you start trying to count them on one hand, you don’t need any fingers” (para.
