The definition of a comedian is a person who seek to entertain an audience primary by making them laugh. That might be through jokes or amusing situations or acting a fool as in slapstick or employing. A lexical definition is someone who tells jokes in front of audience for a living or one who does stand ups are a funny guy you may know.
