First, Heroes don’t always please everyone because not everyone agrees to the same things. An example of this is our 16th president, Abraham Lincoln. He was elected president right before the Civil war. He, even though many had differentiating opinions, still tried to preserve the union and free the slaves. When his side won the war, he was killed by a Confederate assassin. As Dr. Phineas D. Gurley says in The White House Funeral Sermon for President Lincoln “The
