My reason for wanting to be a dental hygienist is because it is something I have always wanted to do. I have always loved teeth and they are always the first thing I notice about someone when I meet them. I want to someday help someone with the care of their teeth. You only get one set as an adult and sometimes people do not know how to take care of the right way. When I was growing up all my friend would always talked about how much they did not like going to the dental and I did not have an experience like that. I was always excited going to the dental. I and the hygienist had a great relationship. I do not remember her name but I always called her Ms. Barbie. She made me feel completely comfortable. I want to try to get rid of this idea
