From getting into an airplane for the first time, to viewing magnificent, huge buildings from a bird’s eye view in a plane. It was truly memorable. Interacting with individuals was really tough for me. Not only was I new to the realm but also English was not my mother tongue. At first I was nervous to talk to folks because of my broken English, but after a while I excelled in my vocabulary and also in my confidence. In every situation if there was a possibility to chat among people, I tried to break the ice. Sometimes it worked and other times it did not. Through my conversation I have been teased a couple of times. Once I was talking alongside a group of people; suddenly the topic of discussion changed to chatting about which soda our favorite was. I frantically answered by saying, “I like cock”; subsequently, people started laughing. Not knowing what I said wrong, I was deluded. Then I shouted with anger; I repeatedly said again and again, “I love cock”; and I left the crowd of people. After all the humiliation, I realized it was the way I had pronounced the word that had made them chuckle.
