In the Bronx we have a wide variety of activities and interesting places. I currently live on burke ave White Plains road. I grew up on Pelham pkwy where they have almost everything. In my community the transportation is really affordable and easy to access. I live four blocks away from the train station. The trains that I usually take are the 2 or 5 train, Busses around my area are the BX 39, 12, 22, and I believe the BX 38. When traveling to the city it usually takes me an estimate of an 1hr. We also have other transportation like cabs that are affordable and easy to find. Interesting facts about my city is Bronx was the first city to invent the popular dance Salsa en orchard beach and also Hip hop was first originated …show more content…
There is over 1,385,108 people that reside in the Bronx and 40.8% are white, 43.3% are black or African American, 54.6% are Hispanic or Latino and only 4.2% are Asian.
