The Black Death was a main thing that led to the despair of the people, this killed people and stopped trade where Europe could not get back till a later time. These meant that all the supplies that people would need they would not be able to get. Another reason was that there was Anti-Semitism going on in Europe this was something that killed many Jews and there were many Jews in Europe. Kings sometimes would cause much despair in Europe because the would make rules that would cause controversy between many people. Most of the weaknesses would come by the kings and also by people that were forced to work through the difficult times. The Kings would have weaknesses in the government because they would have to make rules that would lead up to a revival so that Europe would overcome the time of despair. There would be a weakness in the work force because many people did not want to get out and work they wanted to spend time with family because everyone was in despair. Some people though were forced to work because of this, eventually this caused people getting mad at the government because they forced them to work.
