Understanding the cellular functions and pathophysiology makes it easer for a nurse to understand what type of dieases or illness that is affecting there patients. I would say that phathophysiology is the backbone of the nursing practice and the fundimental of high thinking once you start practicing as a lisenced nurse and also when your in school.
