It gives me great pleasure to write this letter of recommendation in support of Diana Muniz. I have known Diana for almost 5 years, which means that I have had the privilege of sharing in her excitement as she has progressed through successive stages of intellectual and personal growth. From my experiences as her school counselor, I can proudly speak to her strengths as an intellectual, a role model and a community member.

Diana is bright, articulate, principled, and compassionate. The ever-widening scope of Diana’s efforts in and out of the classroom reveals unequivocally the powerful results of his dedication to education and personal growth. A passion for critical reflection and deeply intellectual questioning drives Diana. Diana is a fast learner who is socially versatile enough to connect with the wide variety of personality types that her peers possess, and she compels them to try their best in their coursework through setting an example of hard work and dedication. In class, she is a role model without alienating the students who do not inherently share her natural talent and impressive intelligence. She is truly a critical thinker, a strong writer, and she builds amazing relationships with her teachers as well as her peers.
