The day started off like every other day. I was staring at the clock, eagerly waiting for Patrick to arrive. I couldn’t wait to see it. I was so excited to tell him how the baby started kicking. But, as soon as he arrived, he shattered my heart by announcing his departure. He sat down and gave me a speech. I had no idea what he was talking about until the last sentence.
