The Constitution did a good job at creating a stable, working system but there were a few flaws that were not fixed for a while. Women at the time were expected to stay home and watch the children. Because women were unable to leave the house often, they didn't really have time to pursue a career or acquire a form of education. Not only were women uneducated and mistreated, but they were not able able to vote at all in any political decisions. They couldn't even voice their opinion on anything, and if they did often they were hit or beat by their husbands of fathers. Women couldn't even own land, they had to have a husband or father in order to live on the land.
Slaves and women were not the only ones being oppressed. Native Americans were dealing with a lot things from the colonists. Many of the native Americans were being forced off their land or even scammed for their property, and items. A lot of the Native Americans were killed or even turned into slaves in some cases, they were really just viewed as minorities. With all this happening to them they were really become extinct and not to many Native Americans are really around
