In the case study involving Jacob Little, Wal-Mart was not offering a just wage, however, they were offering him a job non-the less. With the job being offered, it was an opportunity for him to receive a consistent paycheck and the ability to provide for his family, something that from the looks of it was not available to him through other avenues.
