Before pretending to be noble, Williams’s life was rough. William grow up in Cheapside

William was committed for twelve
years and his father sent him away so he had a chance to change his stars. Even when William’s
farther sent away he still did not have a lot money, clothes, or a chance for an education. William
went days at time without eating, until the days of the joust. That is when William split the
money with other squires to eat. If they did not get food from the joust, William would had to
work on the land of the nobles to generate food.
When William first “became” noble he was posing as Sir Ector after he was found dead
by the squires. The feeling of happiness made William want to continue jousting. In his mind he
was noble, he was the knight he always wanted to be, and that was the chance he needed to have

food and clothing for day for him and his squires. Yet, William could not keep posing as Sir
Ector, so William disguise himself as Sir Ulrich von Lichtenstein from Geldeland. From then on
William was winning joust after joust, sword fight after sword fight. William was finally where
he wanted to be, until he caught up in love with his lady Jocelyn. William wanted to win her
heart, but he was not the only one. William and Count Adhemar was both fighting for
