This artwork is called “Sunflowers” and it is by Diego Rivera. When I look at this artwork, I see two children in a sunflower field. A little girl is playing with a broken doll and a young boy beside her is looking at a white mask. On the ground around them, there is another doll and a yellow and red mask. By looking at this artwork, I can see that the artist used the element of texture by including creases on the children’s shirts and pants. The artist also used a warm color scheme by using darker yellows on the flower petals and reds and browns on the children’s clothing. This artist created a center of interest by making one unique sunflower. The flower to the left of the boy has a green center instead of a brown center
