Body 1-The differences and similarities of how the Chinook and the colville hunted for their food was the chinook caught fish and sea mammals near the mouth of the Columbia river. For example, In the early spring, the chinook used long,curved blades to rake thousands of tiny smelt into their boats. The colville’s stable food was mostly salmon, and they ate the entire fish, even the head. They often retrieved the salmon that died after spawning and ate those too. The men hunted deer,elk,bear, and beaver as well as buffalo.
