The first presentation I went to was called “Difference in Protein” which was designed by Ahmon Harris, Kevin Ngo, Niko Escondo, Ethan Tran, and Anel Hrnjic. The question the presented was “How does differences in protein impact a geckos growth rate?” (Crickets vs Mealworms) They came to a conclusion that there is a significant difference. They collected data by calculating the mass growth rate by both geckos. The evidence showed that the gecko that ate crickets had a higher mass growth rate compared to the one that ate mealworms. The biology connection is the 10% rule of energy transfer from organism to organism. The geckos were also name Stevie and Carl, Stevie ate crickets and Carl ate mealworms.
