Jamestown and Plimoth are two of the most well known early American colonies. While they are certainly similar in certain aspects, there are also aspects in which they are completely different from one another. Both the Jamestown and Plimoth settlements however played a vital role in the European settlement of North America and started a revolution in terms of settlements being created across the continent.
