After reading the article, you sent me and doing further information I discovered that Electronic cigarettes are an alternative to normal cigarettes that are very harmful to us. Even though e-cigarettes might be a safer substitute to tobacco cigarettes they still contain their own side effects. E-cigarettes are similar to, or at least are made to be similar to regular tobacco cigarettes they have the same concept of inhaling and letting a cloud of smoke go out in the air. But in the e- cigarettes it is not actual smoke it is actually vapor. That vapor is actually liquid nicotine that has a variety of flavors and colors. This liquid is turned into vapor by a heating component. There are two kinds of electric cigarettes, some are disposable that allows only one use and there are also reusable ones that are charged by a battery. In the reusable one, there is a battery, a cartridge like a container that allows to be refilled.
Like I said before they are made to be similar to the traditional cigarettes but they are actually quite different. Normal cigarettes actually pose more health issues. Issues that we see today like problems with the lungs and cancer to those who use cigarettes. The …show more content…
When we look at the advantages of nicotine we see that it is a safer alternative to tobacco. We also notice that in e-cigarettes the nicotine does not have any bad odors, doesn’t make your teeth stained, and the price after the initial cost is less high in the long run. Although nicotine comes from tobacco nicotine in e-cigarettes are much safer since tobacco cigarettes contain many chemicals that not only pose health risks to the smoker but to the people around them.
